Robotic Simulation is fully utilized in multiple phases of automotive product development and mass production. Initial part concepts are not only analyzed for their strength and formability but KTH also analyzes the manufacturability of the automotive frame component by conducting reach studies to determine if specific fastener points are easily accessible.
Simulations, on welding mass production parts and assemblies, are conducted to determine the least amount of time possible to produce the parts. We then plan efficient and precise production lines using the technological data that we accumulate. Robotic Welding Simulation provides a reduction of the verification time in the weld line planning and also a reduction of the work time required to construct new weld lines on site.
