Weld Line Development

At KTH, our engineers plan and design welding lines for the mass production of automotive parts and components worldwide. The new welding lines that we develop are successful at any of our production facilities. These weld lines have high similarity within the group, regarding quality and efficiency, and are continuously monitored, modified, and improved by our Project Engineers with support from an array of other engineering fields.

Weld lines consist of:

  • Production Associates
  • Robots (Spot & MIG Weld)
  • Weld Fixtures
  • Part Handlers
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Pneumatics
  • Multiple Servo Tables
  • Conveyors

Our Project Engineers take the lead by running various weld line projects from planning and scheduling through the installation, setup, configuration, and testing.

Our electrical and mechanical Technical Associates support our engineers through a variety of equipment assembly and modifications and are also involved with robot teaching.

KTH is always pursuing a “next generation line” that can fulfill general purpose usage and high productivity in higher dimensional control. This pursuit of ongoing excellence in weld line development ensures that our customers receive the best parts at the best price.
